The hotel was perfect for my friend's wedding and reception. The rooms were large, nicely decorated, and had their own bar and facilities, creating a lovely and cozy ambiance. However, it could get cold in the morning without heating available at 6 am.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though not in the superior part of the building, provided great portions and were spacious. However, being situated over the bar and restaurant could be a downside.
Staying in the Beresford Suite was an absolute treat with a beautiful, clean, and warm room located conveniently above the bar and restaurant that was ideal for our pre-wedding stay. The service from the staff was incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel special for our celebration. The location was excellent for exploring Derbyshire attractions, making it a memorable stay, despite feeling a bit crowded at times. The dining experience was top-notch, especially on special occasions, offering high-quality meals and delightful surprises. Overall, a great place for a special getaway.
